In this workshop, participants will learn about Indo-Islamicate papermaking and its history. You will be introduced to the papermaking technique and we will spend time making paper by hand. Participants will also be shown simple surface finishing techniques such as burnishing and dyeing which you can apply to your finished sheets.

This workshop will be co-run by Radha Pandey (who will be joining us virtually), a papermaker and letterpress printer, and Devin Fitzgerald, Senior Fellow (who will be there in person).
