If you are a confirmed presenter at the SoFCB Orientation and Annual Meeting, you have been automatically reserved accommodation from 23rd-25th May. Please let staff know if you do not need this accommodation. If you are not a presenter but would like accommodation make sure to indicate that on your registration form and that you have received confirmation of your accommodation reservation from the SoFCB staff email.

For those who are registered in dorm accommodations, you should pick up your key at Gibbons House between 9am-5pm before proceeding to Watson-Webb. They provided a map with a detour around the road closure.
Now a note on traveling between the dorm (Watson-Webb) and Harrison/Small Special Collections Library, where we’ll have most of our programming: There is a road closure directly by the dorm that will impact vehicle traffic, but should not impact foot traffic. Given this closure, here is a driving map with a proposed alternate route to the Central Grounds Garage, where we suggest you park. If you’re walking, Google and Apple Maps both seem to work well to get you between the dorm and the library. But in case you have any trouble, here is a walking map.
The Central Grounds garage, which is below the bookstore and Newcomb Hall, is three levels. The bookstore, etc., is up a flight of stairs/elevator ride from the third level. Here is a map of the library quad to give you a sense of the layout (Central Grounds is labeled “garage/bookstore;” there’s a star on Harrison/Small). You will have to take a few sets of stairs to walk between the garage and Harrison/Small—the alternative is to enter Newcomb Hall on the first floor (the entrance is straight out from the garage), take the elevator, and exit on the third floor.
A final note about Central Grounds garage: it is pay-to-park via ParkMobile. If you don’t already have the ParkMobile app, I’d recommend downloading it in advance to save time day-of. These charges can be grouped under your travel reimbursement.
